How can you add value to my business?

Each business is unique. Whether challenged distilling opportunity, harnessing growth capacity, or requiring performance resolution,  I can add value providing a fresh, considered, strategic and or tactical perspective through a consumer lens to deliver a bespoke solution.

Why should I use you rather than internal resources?

I will provide complementary or alternate capacity to suit your unique circumstances.Each situation is different. In some, the business may simply lack the internal resources and or knowledge to realise your ambition. In others, an independent view, free from a business as usual focus and the impediment of internal agendas may be what’s required.

Do I need to be a large business to get value?

No. The bespoke nature of the service means you only pay for what you need. With hourly, scalable project and fixed price rates available, you can tailor your budget to meet your objectives.

How much or little consulting service can I access?

You can access my services on an ad hoc, defined project or retainer basis.

How do you charge for your services?

I operate a no surprises tiered rate policy. Ad hoc services are available at hourly or daily rates.  An intermediate rate applies for shorter projects and a volume rate to longer projects and retainer services. 

What is the process to engage you?

The first step is a no obligation discussion for me to understand your challenge and identify your objectives. I will then prepare a written report detailing your unique challenge, documenting a proposed work plan and deliverables to meet objectives. Typically, a further discussion/s will follow to refine and agree the deliverables to enable a confirmed price quotation to be prepared. Should you wish to proceed, I will then prepare a contract for execution.

How can I manage work progress?

I will incorporate your work in progress (WIP) reporting requirements in the agreed work plan. Project stages will incorporate Milestones, with GO/NO GO decision points. Reporting options include- timely dashboard-style summaries, verbal briefings, written reports and formal presentations.

How is your work guaranteed?

If you are not happy with the service progress, you can contact me at any time to discuss your concerns. In the unlikely event that my service does not meet your expectations, you can have peace of mind in knowing you can cancel your contract at any time without penalty; only paying for services rendered not future commitments.

How will our IP & confidential information be protected?

I value my professional reputation as a trusted business partner. I recognise the integrity of client confidentiality and acknowledge the signing of a Confidentiality Agreement as standard practice.

Will my business own the IP copyright on completed work?

Subject to any pre-existing IP rights, on payment of my fees in full, you will own the copyright in all deliverables identified as ‘Client Materials’ in the agreed work plan.I will own the copyright in all deliverables and other materials not identified as Client Materials. You will have a non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use these deliverables for your own use. Naturally, I retain IP ownership over my methodologies and tools.
